Fishing Partners

On, apparently, a good day for fishing, three species of waterfowl shared a small patch of the lagoon in their hunt for Glass Minnows and Finger Mullet. Left to right, a Great or "Common" Egret (Casmerodias albus), a Great Blue Heron (Ardea herodias), and a Snowy Egret (Egretta thula).

Not sure what the criteria for cooperation is, since I've seen territorial squabbles over distances much greater than this. Perhaps there was just enough for everybody that day (though this definitely seems beyond the reasoning power of a bird).
