Tramping around the head of the Neuse River in NC, looking for something photogenic and getting soaked by the amount of dew on the grasses. This little leaf waved and said, "Pick me!" just before I would have brushed past dislodging the dew droplets. The light was right, the texture worked, and the faintly visible drops on the background leaf kept the subject together -- I think if the background didn't seem to match, it would have isolated my subject and made it seem out of place. The shadows on the leaf have the right contrast to indicate morning as well (as if the dew didn't accomplish that).
